What I Think Of What I Know

Quest

The bodies that you entered and swam out,
Yet to enter another again.
Through the tribes, religions & races that you'd been,
You bore the quest to be discovered over & over again.
All over the earth through countries without boundaries,
You endured to be found over & over again.
By the better half of you in aching yearn,
To discern & be discerned again.
An experience so rich that the soul conceals,
How was it, to be lost & found, over & over again?
Hence the quest persists as the experience gets richer,
Though the words in history can't contain.

The young still, linger in the quest to be found,
Over & over again.
Waiting for the day,
When they need not bargain,
As they will be discovered again,
And will be found over & over again.
Holding on, through the hunt in daylight,
For their souls to meet in the dark again.
Splitting their heart out while parting from themselves,
They forbear, coz soon it will be full again,
With love so prodigious,
That it drenches them in it's rain,
Of the quest,
To be found over & over again.

Interestingly different poetry but again how is it inspired by English Patient? Is there a connect that I'm missing?
